You decide your pace and finish on your timeline. We offer programs on campus with evening classes and online.
Admissions for bachelor’s programs is on a rolling basis. The ASN application deadline is June 15 for a fall start. The LPN-ASN deadline is October 15 for a spring start.
Transfer Credits and Finish Faster
Rivier accepts up to 90 credits toward a Bachelor’s degree and 45 credits toward an Associate degree. Credits must be from a regionally accredited two and four-year institution.
To transfer credits, you should request that your official transcript(s) are sent via electronic sending service to admissions@bijoubook.net or by mail to: Rivier University, Office of Admissions, 420 South Main Street, Nashua, NH 03060.
Your advisor or enrollment counselor will review the transcript(s) and determine how many credits are transferable to your chosen program of study.
Official high school transcript or GED. Applicants to the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program are not required to submit high school transcript or GED.
If applicable, your official college transcript(s) from all institutions where you have received degrees and/or course credit.
Applicants to the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program must have completed a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
A minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA is required for admission to the RN to BSN program. Applicants whose GPA falls below this minimum will be evaluated and may be considered for admission. Applicants must also provide evidence of an active, unencumbered RN nursing license.
If you are not an LPN or RN, you must provide evidence of satisfactory completion (C+, 77% or higher) of high school or college biology, chemistry and algebra.
Admitted Nursing Students
All admitted nursing students will be asked to provide documentation of the following to the Division of Nursing and Health Professions:
Background check
Physical exam indicating good health with no restrictions
Results of a drug screen
Vaccination/immunization records
